1. SELLER AND SCOPE

1.1. These Terms of Sale govern purchases made through the Nandani website.

1.2. The seller is:

1.3. These terms should be read with:
- Our Privacy Policy.
- Our Returns and Reservation Policy.
- The Nandani Insider Membership Terms, where applicable.

1.4. Customers placing orders must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate contact and billing information.

2. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

2.1. Nandani offers 22K and 18K gold jewellery and natural-diamond jewellery through its online catalogue.

2.2. Silver articles are currently available for purchase in-store, not through online checkout.

2.3. Product descriptions identify the relevant:
- Metal purity.
- Gross and net weight, where applicable.
- Stones and diamonds.
- Design and physical-piece details.
- Other available specifications.

2.4. Where several physical pieces share a design, the selected piece’s weight and details determine its price.

2.5. Photographs may be enlarged, and screen settings may affect apparent colour.

2.6. These display differences do not permit us to supply a materially different design, purity, weight or stone specification from the item agreed with you.

3. PRICING AND PRICE BREAKDOWN

3.1. Prices are stated in Indian rupees.

3.2. The applicable total and price breakdown will be disclosed before payment.

3.3. Our standard pricing method is:

Gold Value:
Net Gold Weight × Applicable Per-Gram Gold Rate

Making Charges:
Gross Jewellery Weight × Applicable Per-Gram Gold Rate × Applicable Making-Charge Percentage

Stone Value:
Total of Each Stone Quantity × Its Applicable Unit Rate

Subtotal:
Gold Value + Making Charges + Stone Value

Final Price:
Subtotal + Applicable GST

3.4. Net gold weight and gross jewellery weight are different measurements where an item contains stones or other non-gold components.

3.5. Both measurements will be clearly identified where relevant.

3.6. Nandani charges 0% wastage. No separate wastage charge is added.

3.7. The 0% wastage policy does not mean that making charges, stones or GST are free.

3.8. Standard making charges are:
- Gold jewellery: 15%.
- Natural-diamond jewellery: 25%.

3.9. A different product-specific standard rate may apply where clearly disclosed.

3.10. Eligible membership benefits and announced promotions are applied according to their terms.

3.11. Retail jewellery pricing includes GST at 3% of the applicable transaction value under the stated pricing model, subject to any change in applicable law.

3.12. Membership fees and separately supplied services are subject to their own applicable tax treatment.

4. METAL RATES AND PRICE CONFIRMATION

4.1. Displayed metal rates may change before an order is accepted.

4.2. The rate and calculation confirmed for an accepted purchase determine that purchase’s price.

4.3. A rate displayed in the website header is not, by itself, a price-lock agreement.

4.4. Reservation price-lock arrangements are governed by the Returns and Reservation Policy.

4.5. Once we have accepted a fully paid order at an agreed price, subsequent market-rate changes will not change that price.

5. ORDER ACCEPTANCE

5.1. Submitting an order or receiving a payment acknowledgement does not necessarily confirm that the selected physical piece has been allocated.

5.2. We confirm acceptance after the necessary payment and availability checks.

5.3. If an item cannot be supplied, we will contact you and:
- Offer an available alternative for your approval; or
- Arrange a refund.

5.4. We will not substitute a different item without your agreement.

6. PAYMENTS

6.1. Available online payment methods are shown at checkout through Razorpay.

6.2. Payment methods may include UPI, cards and net banking, subject to availability.

6.3. Any credit-card EMI conversion offered by your card issuer is governed by that issuer’s terms, interest and charges.

6.4. Nandani does not promise that a particular transaction qualifies for EMI.

7. PRICING AND DESCRIPTION ERRORS

7.1. If we identify a material pricing or product-description error before accepting an order, we will:
- Explain the correction and request your agreement; or
- Cancel the order and refund the payment received.

7.2. We will not debit an additional amount without your authorisation.

7.3. This clause does not limit remedies available under applicable law.

8. STORE PICKUP

8.1. Online jewellery orders are currently fulfilled through store pickup only.

8.2. Home delivery is not currently offered.

8.4. Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready before visiting to collect it.

8.5. Bring the order reference and information reasonably needed to verify collection.

8.6. An original physical Insider card is required when claiming membership benefits in-store.

8.7. Arrangements for another person to collect an order must be agreed with Nandani beforehand.

9. INVOICES AND PRODUCT RECORDS

9.1. Your invoice will record the transaction and applicable product details.

9.2. Relevant details for hallmarked precious-metal articles include the article description, net precious-metal weight, purity and applicable hallmarking-charge information.

9.3. Please retain your invoice and any supplied product certificates for future service, support or claims.

10. ALTERATIONS AND CUSTOM WORK

10.1. Resizing, engraving, custom work or other alterations must be separately agreed.

10.2. Before work begins, we will explain:
- The proposed work.
- Its cost.
- The estimated completion time.
- Its effect on any voluntary return entitlement.

10.3. Alteration or customisation does not remove remedies available under applicable law.

11. PROMOTIONS AND MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

11.1. Promotions apply only during their stated dates and under eligibility rules disclosed before purchase.

11.2. A reservation does not automatically extend an offer beyond its closing date.

11.3. The Nandani Insider is optional.

11.4. Membership will not be added to a purchase without the customer’s affirmative agreement.

12.5. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights or prevents a customer from approaching a consumer commission, regulator or court with lawful jurisdiction.
